Deiss' refrain alternates with newly composed verses consisting of each Sunday's proper Roman MIssal Entrance Antiphon, along with psalm verses traditionally paired with those antiphons and a concluding doxology. There is no better way to proclaim the declaration 1 Corinthians 16:22: "Marana tha (O Lord, come!)" for each Sunday of Advent.
