Description:

This setting of “Joy to the World” has a “Handelian” feel, complete with a sly quotation from the “Hallelujah” chorus at the end. Stanzas 2 and 3 are combined and set in fugal fashion. Fun to sing, it will become a favorite of the choir and the congregation!

The string bass part is optional.
