In David Gambrell’s collection of texts, Breathing Spirit into Dust (GIA) “We Have Seen the God of Glory” is paired with DIVINUM MYSTERIUM. Here, arranger Jim Vyhanek has created a more metrical setting of this chant tune, one that can be achieved by a smaller choir. There is one small change to the melody: the next-to-last phrase has the jump of a major 6th up instead of a minor 3rd down.
