Only one octave of handbells is required within a two octave range (from C5–C6) and can be played by just three ringers. The ostinato bell part repeats throughout and needs no damping, making this piece perfect to play in procession. The length is flexible and the whole piece is easily repeatable if necessary.
Both C and a B-flat trumpet parts are included.
