Description:
Simple repetitive texts and singable melodies make it easy for congregations to participate in these two short benedictions for SATB voices. The first is “Wait for the Lord,” a blessing for Advent for SATB voices; the second is an SAB canon based on text from Matthew: “And remember, I will always be with you…” These brief pieces have a variety of uses throughout the church year and may be sung a cappella or with the support of keyboard and/or guitar. Their flexibility also allows them to be used numerous places within the liturgy.
