Tune Name: Coronation, Gloria, Hermas
Difficulty Level: E/M
Description:
Unless yours is a very large church, it probably doesn't take long for the congregation to clear out after the benediction. As a result, a long postlude can be an exercise in futility - who's left to hear it to the end? The music in this new collection will send the congregants on their way rejoicing, with majestic music ringing in their ears. There are twenty easy, quickly prepared selections; some are based on hymns, some on classics, and some are originals. Several are especially appropriate for seasonal usage. They vary in length from one to three minutes. All in all, a VERY handy and practical collection for the organist who doesn't want to be the last person in the sanctuary at the conclusion of the postlude! The music is printed in two stages with the pedal part in the bas clef. Registrations are provided for pipe, electronic, and Hammond organs. Try it! You'll like it.
