Description:
Psalm 146, “Lord, Come and Save Us,” is both a prayer and a plea for this present age. In this setting, the refrain is set to a simple melody with a ballad-like accompaniment featuring jazzy harmonies. The verses are meant to be sung in a contemporary or popular singing style, using vocal slides, or embellishing the melody for dramatic effect.
