From the Honey from the Rock collection of Entrance and Communion Antiphons, this Communion Antiphon is designated for the Second Sunday of Advent but may be used throughout the season. This antiphon, with text from Baruch for the refrain and Psalm 147 for its verses, speaks of God’s care for the exiled children of Israel, encouraging them to have joy as the children return to Jerusalem. The antiphon is accessible to choir and assembly, and improvisation is encouraged.
