Description:

Now available as a single octavo, “Hail, Holy Mother” was originally part of Holland’s Honey from the Rock collections of Entrance and Communion Antiphons. It is the Entrance Antiphon designated for the Solemnity of Mary, yet is appropriate for use during any Marian celebration. The antiphon is taken from The Roman Missal; the verses are from Psalm 45. The recurring antiphon is accessible enough for the assembly to embody and sing after hearing a few times, supported by the choir (where present). A majestic setting, this piece should be played and sung with energy and exaltation.
