Description:

The verses of this piece come from Timothy Rees’ hymn text “Holy Spirit, Ever Dwelling” while the refrain features Fanny Crosby’s text “Dwell in me, O Blessed Spirit” (originally published under the pseudonym Martha J. Lankton). While Rees’ verses recount various attributes of the Holy Spirit, Crosby’s refrain is a prayer for the indwelling of the Spirit. Paired together, they create the perfect hymn for Pentecost Sunday or any other service at which the theme of the Holy Spirit is emphasized.
