W. Clifford Petty, a native of Eufaula, Alabama has served as Pastoral Musician at Resurrection Catholic Church in Montgomery, Alabama since 1992. Cliff is well known as a recording artist, performer, composer, and arranger. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in vocal music performance and his Master of Music Education degree from Alabama State University.

Mr. Petty’s solo debut CD entitled In Spirit and Truth was released in March of 2006. This CD earned him the nomination for new male vocalist of the year during the “2006 Unity Awards”. Petty’s sophomore CD project, Touch Jesus was released in March of 2009, “Mass of New Beginnings” was released in 2013 and his latest CD, We Are Filled with Joy was released in November of 2016. He has also recorded with the Alabama State University Choir, Alabama State COGIC Mass Choir; and various recording artists.  Mr. Petty was commissioned to write the theme song for the 2008 Los Angeles Religious Education Congresswhich is the largest annual gathering of Catholics in the United States.

While there are so many accolades that can be given to Mr. Petty, he would say that his greatest achievements in life are being a proud father of LaKeyla and grandfather to Landon and Journee.
