Charles Evans is a professional trumpeter, arranger and composer who has performed with the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley Chamber Orchestra, Back Festival Orchestra of Bethlehem and the Delaware Valley Philharmonic. Mr. Evans is an active recitalist in programs for trumpet and organ. He has performed regularly in the orchestras of many regional theaters in the Philadelphia area. He founded and performs with Celebration Brass, a professional brass ensemble that appears in concerts, churches and ceremonial functions throughout the Philadelphia area.

He has arranged and composed much music for brass and his collection of original hymn descants, Hymn Descants for Treble Instruments, published by Lorenz Music, has been very successful.

He has served on the faculties of Muhlenberg and Cedar Crest colleges. Mr. Evans was educated at Lehigh University, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Moravian College, and the Tanglewood Institute.
