Description:

Here’s a great addition to repertoire for the washing of feet on Holy Thursday. A 2-part refrain employs the men of the choir to sing a metered version from the chant UBI CARITAS beneath an original melody by the women and assembly in unison. The verses are scored for SATB choir, but can effectively be sung by a unison section or by cantor. Guitar and keyboard provide basic accompaniment; optional parts are available for flute and cello.

For cantor or soloist.
