This bundle includes:

Spiritual Planet evolved from a project originally intended for Japanese television’s documentary series The Miracle Planet II.

“Lost Souls” and “Enlightenment,” which eventually became the second and third movements of Spiritual Planet, were submitted as full orchestral arrangements for the television series.

Even though Hokoyama was contracted to score and conduct the music for the show, these movements were not used in the production.

Upon hearing the music, Tad Suzuki of the University of Nevada–Las Vegas encouraged Hokoyama to reorchestrate the two movements for band and add a third movement (“Sphere in Chaos”) to make a three-movement suite.
