Adapted from the Jewish Sabbath service, this simple song with limited two-part harmony, uses Hebrew and English for the refrain, with English verses punctuated by the community’s “Sim Shalom.” It is the universal call for peace. The verses also call for peace, friendship, healing, virtue, hope, and an end to fear, war, and hate.
