Description:
One might think of this as a modern Latin motet for SAB voices with an independent organ accompaniment. The texture is primarily monosyllabic and chordal until the final section; the dynamics, however, range from a fortississimo climax down to a pianissimo ending. The text is the antiphon for the feast of Corpus Christi; the inclusion of alleluias may preclude its use for most groups on Holy Thursday.
