The familiar melody of Amazing Grace holds great meaning to the Cherokee people. In this enthusiastically received choral setting, it is sung with Cherokee words in combination with the Morning Song of the Teehahnahmah Indian Nation. This simple canon will be a very rewarding experience for treble choirs in middle school through high school, especially when performed with suggested instruments (parts included). The excellent performance notes and translation/pronunciation guide make it easy to achieve an authentic performance. Duration: ca. 3:50.
