In the Irish folk tradition, accompanying parts include the instruments listed above, and the piano accompaniment is optional. An extremely integral part of this rousing setting is the individual hand-clapping patterns for each vocal part. Sectional duets, imitative entrances and some divisi at the end make this fun to rehearse and perform. A dynamic and creative programming choice!
