Description:
This is a hidden gem! An African resurrection hymn artfully arranged for choir and assembly. The accompaniment includes organ (somewhat unusually scored), xylophone, drum, and axatse (a large hollow gourd with beads tied around the outside). The tunes remains unharmonized, but has some choral countermelodies. The refrain after each of the four verses is a series of alleluias.
