Description:

The Good Friday Reproaches (known as “Improperia” in Latin) are based on an ancient hymn that reminds us of Jesus’ sorrow on the cross. The hymn is to be sung as the people are invited to approach and reverence the crucifix by kissing, touching, or genuflecting. It should be sung reverently and at a slow tempo.
