Description:
This gathering rite borrows themes from the chant Litany of the Saints in a dialog between cantor and assembly. Intended for unaccompanied singing, the choir hums beneath the cantor's call and sings in harmony with the assembly's response. The same music is used for the Kyrie eleison that concludes the entrance rite.
