These antiphons, composed to accompany the entrance procession for Ash Wednesday and the five Sundays of Lent, have their textual basis in The Roman Missal, 2010; the verses are from The Revised Grail Psalms (2010). Each antiphon has been set to one of four common-meter hymn tunes. The optional descant (sung, or played on C instrument) can be added at any time. The antiphons (as well as the verses) may be performed by large and varied forces, or sung in unison, with only the organ accompanying.
