Quoting the traditional spirituals, Angel Band; De Angels in Heab'n Gwineter Write My Name; All Night, All Day; and De Band of Gideon, this dynamic new work offers driving rhythmic excitement as it builds to its exhilarating conclusion. There is some treble divisi, complimented by interesting ostinatos in the men's parts. An excellent concert closer, this work was performed by the 1999 Southern Division ACDA High School Honor choir.
