Noble, Weston H.
Weston Noble is an internationally known conductor and clinician. He has served as guest conductor for music festivals in the United States and abroad. He has adjudicated at the International Festival of Three Cities (Vienna, Budapest, and Prague) and served as band consultant and guest director of the Association for the International Cultural Exchange in Vienna.
Noble was named first recipient of the Weston H. Noble Award for lifetime achievement in the choral art, presented by the North Central Division of ACDA; this award is presented every two years to an outstanding choral conductor within North Central ACDA. He also received the Citation of Merit Award, University of Michigan. He has conducted over 800 music festivals, including over 75 All-State bands, choirs, and orchestras. He is the only director who has been invited to conduct All-State groups in all three media (band, choir, and orchestra). He has completed 8 concert tours of Europe, including Norway, Denmark, Germany, Republic of Czech, Hungary, Rumania, Poland, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.
Weston Noble has two publications with GIA: Creating the Special World (2005) and Achieving Choral Blend through Standing Position DVD (2005).
