Trevor Phillips graduated from Tulane University with a double major in evolutionary biology and piano performance and from Portland State University with a Master of Education degree. He began teaching at Murnin Elementary in San Antonio, and in 2022 he was honored as Northside Independent School District’s Elementary Educator of the Year and nominee for Texas Educator of the Year. He is published with Hal Leonard and Walton Music and currently resides and teaches in Colorado Springs.
