Campbell, Rosemary
Rosemary Campbell earned her bachelor of music degree from St. Norbert College, De Pere, Wisconsin and her Master of Arts in Liturgy and Music from St. Joseph's College, Rensselaer, Indiana. As a liturgist, she has worked in parishes for over 30 years. During her career, she presented many workshops on liturgy and music, spirituality, and training liturgical ministers. Primarily a vocalist, Rosemary began composing liturgical music when she needed a piece of music to fill a moment in the liturgy and could not find what she wanted.
Her first piece, published by GIA, "God of Healing - Song for the Blessing/Presentation of the Oils", was composed for the Chrism Mass for the Diocese of Green Bay. It has been used in many cathedrals and parishes throughout the country.
Rosemary was born in Austin MN. Her family moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin when she was a child. Rosemary is married and has a daughter and a son. She and her husband have two grandchildren who live in London, England.
