Grillone, Richard Michael
Rich Grillone is an accomplished Catholic composer, arranger, and orchestrator. He is currently the Director of Music & Liturgy at Saint Denis in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Rich graduated with a degree in Music Technology with a concentration in Music Composition from Duquesne University of the Holy Spirit. His works have been used throughout the country and internationally. Most recently, Rich was contracted to conduct the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Chorus, and Band for the closing liturgy at the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis in 2024, which was comprised mostly of his own orchestrations. He is regularly called upon by other accomplished composers to collaborate in songwriting or orchestrating derivative works of his colleagues. Rich takes pride in mentoring parishes in creating a meditative “flow in liturgy”. In addition to his work in liturgical composition and leadership, Rich is an accomplished audio engineer. He is the founder and owner of Grillone Audio, LLC. Grillone Audio works as a consultant to various parishes and schools to collaborate with acoustical engineering firms to successfully install sound systems and microphones.
