Barely into his third decade, Kevin Keil has already made strong inroads into the sacred and secular music scenes with his numerous publications. Nor is his output limited to original choral scores and arrangements; at least as long on any listing are his numerous keyboard arrangements of traditional and contemporary sacred songs. His setting of Psalm 24, "We Long to See Your Face," is included in the Gather Comprehensive and the RitualSong hymnals.
Kevin was born in Painsville, Ohio, and now resides with his wife and three sons in Maple Heights. He received his bachelors degree in music as a voice major from Cleveland State University, and to keep himself busy these days he is director of music ministries at St. Noel Church in Willoughby Hills, Ohio, and is continuing his studies at St. Joseph's College, Rensselaer, Indiana, in pursuit of a masters degree in liturgy and music. He sees his mission as bringing "all who experience and share my music closer to the living presence of Jesus Christ."
