Jyoti Hench enjoys a multi-faceted career as a pianist, composer, and educator. She has been blessed to serve in a variety of enriching roles over more than two decades, all of which have shaped her life as a faith-filled musician. These include piano teacher, accompanist, church musician, Catholic school music teacher, parish music director, arranger, and educational composer. As a composer, she has created several published volumes of music for young pianists at the elementary and intermediate levels. As a church musician, she believes that music ministry serves a beautiful purpose in glorifying God and helping people to draw closer to Him in worship. Jyoti holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano performance and pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma. Outside of music, she enjoys traveling, camping, and writing. She lives in Northern California with her husband, two children, and two dogs.
