Brandon, Joani
Joani Brandon is a K–5 music educator at Red Rocks Elementary and Leawood Elementary in the metro-Denver area. She is a Professor of Music Emeritus at Anderson University, where she taught for twenty-two years and served as the director of the summer graduate program. She holds a Master of Music Education degree from Butler University and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Boston University. She is a founding member and past president of the Feierabend Association for Music Education (FAME). Joani holds Feierabend and Kodály certifications from Hartt School of Music; Orff Schulwerk certification, master class, and Dalcroze training from Anderson University; and a certificate from the International Summer Course from the Orff Institute, Salzburg. Joani is a co-author of First Steps in Music with Orff Schulwerk and Conversational Solfege with Orff Schulwerk.
