Wagner, Jen
Jen Wagner is an award winning composer, and avid music educator. She has served as clinician and director at festivals and conferences throughout the region including the American Choral Directors Association “Sweet Soundsations” in Harrisburg. Her music is performed worldwide and is available through GIA Publications Inc. and Jen Wagner Music. Jen has performed in professional ensembles throughout Pennsylvania and as the soprano soloist for the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Singers.
She currently holds the position of Senior Division General Music Teacher and Choral Director at the Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Her current ensembles have recorded with Grammy Nominated Artist, 3AM Tokyo, were guest performers for President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama at The White House, and have been recognized competitively and locally since 2011.
Jen received a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Messiah College and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Bloomsburg University. Jen has established herself as a prominent music educator, composer and choral director and resides with her family in Palmyra, Pennsylvania.
Jen serves on the board of the American Choral Directors Association of Pennsylvania (ACDA-PA) as both Choral Music Development and Repertoire and Resources Chair for Self-Published Composers and is an active member of the National Association of Music Education, (NAfME) and the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association.
