Hye-Young Cho (b. 1969) is considered as one of the leading composers in Korea. Her works have been performed in almost every choir and commissioned by most major professional choirs in Korea.

Notably, she was commissioned to write Te Deum for the opening concert of the World Symposium on Choral Music (WSCM) held in Seoul, Korea (2014).

She has served as the composer in residence for several of Korea’s most prestigious choirs, including the Incheon City Chorale, the Ansan City Choir, and the National Chorus of Korea. Additionally, she served as the President of the Korean Choral Composition Association (KCCA).

She has taught at Hanyang University, Konkuk University, and Kangwon National University. She received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in composition at Hanyang University in Seoul, Korea.
