Preacher, musician, choir director, songwriter, and producer are all titles that describe Minister Eddie Anthony Robinson. He is a native of Williston, South Carolina and a graduate of the University of South Carolina where he majored in Music.
He relocated to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1999, to lead the Music Ministry of New Mount Olive Baptist Church, led by pastor, Dr. Mack King Carter. He leads the Music, Worship, and Celebrative Arts Ministry which consists of nearly 500 people involved in choir, drama, dance, usher, hospitality, and special event ministries.
Robinson is a member of the Thomas Dorsey National Convention of Gospel Choirs and Choruses where he has served as National Youth Organist and National Minister of Music for Youth and Young Adult Department. He is an award-winning songwriter in this convention having received the coveted "Song of the Year" and "Director of the Year" honors several times. Presently, for the Dorsey Convention, he serves on the Music Cabinet in the Alumni Chorale, National Organist, National Music Director for the Alumni Chorale, and serves as an instructor and administrator in the Artelia Hutchins Training Institute. He is a member of the Hampton University Minister's Conference Choir Directors and Organist's Guild and The Gospel Music Workshop of America. Minister Robinson’s versatility as a church musician has gained him national attention. He is a founding member of the Music Auxiliary of the National Baptist Convention, USA where he has taught for several years.
