Caldarella, David
David Caldarella is a Miami-based composer and vocalist. Beginning his studies at the ACES Educational Center for the Arts in New Haven, CT, along with private composition lessons from composer Polina Nazaykinskaya, he has also studied with pianist-composer Michael Brown, and later conductor Alasdair Neale, as a member of the New Haven Symphony Orchestra’s Youth Composer Project. Caldarella has composed for film, video games, and for the stage, including the 2016 premiere of his new musical, Door to Door. Presently, Caldarella studies music theory and composition at the Frost School of Music, and is a member of the world-renowned Frost Chorale under the direction of Dr. Amanda Quist.
