Originally from Western Michigan, Dan Meyer holds music degrees from Calvin University and Westminster Choir College. As a music educator, he has taught and performed on the Pacific islands of Guam, Kosrae, Oahu, Pohnpei, Saipan, and Yap. His choral and musical theater compositions have been performed in the United States, Canada, Singapore, and Micronesia. Dan now lives in Baltimore where he teaches chorus at a public school and directs a community choir called The Dan Meyer Choir that sings his own compositions and arrangements.
