Bobby Fisher is a musician, composer, author, and clinician from Cincinnati, OH. He currently serves as music director at St. Agnes Parish in Ft. Wright, Kentucky. He has served for a number of years as program coordinator for the NPM Guitar Schools and is currently program coordinator of the NPM Guitar/Ensemble Institute and Guitar Express.

Bobby is an accomplished composer of a number of music collections for GIA, including Play Before God, Season of Peace, Waiting for the Light, and Catholic Classics, Vol. III. His most recent instrumental collection for GIA entitled Guitar Prayer is a collection of familiar hymns, arranged for solo guitar and C Instrument.

Bobby is also the composer of a children’s collection, Hymns and Hers for Happy Hearts and a general liturgical collection, entitled One Breath. Bobby has also composed music for a number of meditation collections for St. Anthony Messenger Press and Heart to Heart Ministries and is the composer of much of the music for the “Catholic Update Video” series, the Catechism on CD, and the nationally syndicated program, American Catholic Radio.

Bobby is the author of The Pastoral Guitarist, a book with an accompanying recording, designed specifically for liturgical guitarists. He is also the author of The Liturgical Guitarist, an instructional video series. The other side of Bobby’s professional life involves his work as a studio musician and music producer and arranger.
