Lee, Ann M.
Dr. Ann Lee is a pianist, director, teacher, and writer. She earned her BA in Philosophy from the American University, MM in piano performance from George Mason University, and Doctor of Liberal Studies in a self-designed degree in artistic communication from Georgetown University. As a pianist, Ann has given solo recitals at The Phillips Collection in Washington, DC, The Lyceum in Alexandria, VA; as featured soloist for Steinway & Sons on several occasions; and at numerous colleges and universities. Ann is a tenured Nationally Certified Teacher of Music, and regular presenter and collaborative pianist with The College Music Society. Ann is the Director of Music at Christ the King Anglican Church in Alexandria, VA, where she directs three choirs and coordinates the Concert Series. She is published in several scholarly journals, notably reviewing new interdisciplinary research for Music Reference Services Quarterly.
