Burnette, Adam
Adam Burnette has enjoyed a rich and varied career over the course of the last twenty years. He has conducted professional orchestras in the U.S., Canada, and Ireland. He has worked with opera companies and musical theatre touring companies in the U.S., Canada, and Ireland, and has accompanied Grammy, Tony, and Emmy Award-winning artists, recorded with his long-time friend and colleague, two-time Grammy-winner, Sylvia McNair, and held guest conducting/vocal coaching positions at universities and conservatories in Canada and Ireland. As a composer/arranger, his music has been performed by the Atlanta Symphony, Nashville Symphony, Napa Valley Youth Orchestra, Carmel Symphony and the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. He was commissioned to compose an original score for a theatre performance during the 2012 UK City of Culture Festival in Derry, Northern Ireland.
He currently serves as Director of Music/Organist at First Presbyterian Church, Dalton, Georgia.
