Aldredge, Steven
Steven Aldredge currently serves on the faculty of the School of Fine and Performing Arts at Wright State University. He has performed nationally and internationally with leading soloists from the Metropolitan Opera, as well as recording artists from such major labels as Naxos, EMI, and has performed recitals with principal players from many of the world's leading orchestras, including The New York Philharmonic, The Vienna Philharmonic, The Bavarian Radio Orchestra, and the Pacific Festival Orchestra. As a fellow of the Pacific Music Festival, he performed throughout Japan. Aldredge's award-winning works are published internationally through Walton Music, Beckenhorst Press, Colla Voce, Lorenz, Soundforth, and The Sacred Music Press and distributed by GIA Publications. He is the winner of Reformation 500 Choral Composition Competition (sponsored by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, SD Synod) for his winning work, O Glorious Word of Life. His opera, The Hatfield-McCoy Triptychs, was selected by Fort Worth Opera for performance at their new works showcase.
