Series: Conversational Solfege
Description:
This collection of more than 300 tunes compiled from folk song literature and classical music is the perfect sight-reading supplement for middle school, high school, and college students.
Each unit introduces a new rhythmic or melodic concept, with opportunities to practice each new concept in isolation using short patterns before experiencing it in the context of complete tunes.
The melodies and sequencing in this collection coordinate directly with Conversational Solfege Levels 1, 2, and 3, but the material works equally well as a standalone sight-reading resource for middle school and high school choirs, as well as collegiate aural skills classes.
This collection transforms sight-reading from a routine task into an enriching experience, leaving students with both stronger skills and timeless tunes that will become part of their lifelong musical memory.
