Bradshaw, Steven
Musician and visual artist STEVEN BRADSHAW regularly tours and records with internationally acclaimed ensembles Roomful of Teeth, Variant 6, Ekmeles, Seraphic Fire, and many others. He is also a two-decade member of the multiple award-winning new-music ensemble The Crossing. Steven appeared as a soloist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic in Ted Hearne’s Place, which earned him a Grammy nomination; the work was a Pulitzer Prize finalist. His electro-acoustic collaborative composition with composer Jacob Cooper, Sunrise, was released on Cold Blue Music. Alternating between surreal and figurative drawing, Steven has designed artwork for many albums, including the Grammy-winning Zealot Canticles by The Crossing. He has also collaborated on two animated films for that ensemble – Protect Yourself from Infection and Stateless – both featuring the music of David Lang. His artwork has been exhibited at Arch Enemy Arts, Stephen Romano Gallery NYC, Liquid Art Fair Miami, and La Luz De Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles.
